Looks like after some seasons they are in good shape and have big chances to get this title, after the diaster of last season when they not secure a place for Champions League.

In UEFA Cup they are on the second place after 1 game, but they take this place just because Braga have more goals scored.

Next game for AC Milan will be in UEFA Cup with the current leader of this group, Braga. Looks to be an easy game, but Braga did not get any goal this season in UEFA Cup. They play with Artmeida and Zrinjski scored 9 goals and in group they beat Portsmouth with 3-0. Milan have a big list in the forward line, will have to wait if they broke the portugal defence.

In the last two weeks this will be the third football game between this two countries. All start with the game at Constanta (Romania), qualification for South Africa WC. In that game Romania take the lead with 2-0 after just 17 minutes, but the France team return in the game and the game finished equal 2-2.

Last night in UEFA Champions League, this two countries had another football game between Steaua Bucharest and Ol. Lyon. Again the Romanian team lead with 2-0, this time after just 11 minutes. The one who score the goal after a corner was Goian, the same player who score against France for the national team. Again France return the game, but this time they finish with a victory.

Tonight Bordeaux and CFR Cluj is the third Romania vs France game. Who will win tonight, will the Romanian team take the lead and finish in a draw or lost again? I think all are speculation, but CFR Cluj looks to be a solid team, perhaps because they have a lot of foreign players in the team. And CFR Cluj is the team who won at Roma after they were lead by Roma. Last two games for CFR were success, a draw with Chelsea and a win in the internal competition with the leader of this moment in Romania.

First surprise is in Group 1 where Albania lead it, and in this group are some big names like Denmark, Sweden, Portugal. Albania lead this group after a draw home with Sweden and a victory away at Malta. Will they win or draw in Budapest?!

Group 7 have surprise again with Lithuania in the first position, in a group with France, Serbia and Romania. They beat Romania away and Austria home. Perhaps the game at Serbia will tell us if they are the real leader of this group.

If we look in this weekend we see a few big games where the punters will place some bets. In Group 1 Sweden - Portugal, Poland vs Czech Republic in group 3. Perhaps the big game this weekend is Germany vs Russia in group 4. Group 5 will have a derby Turkey vs Bosnia. In group 6 Ukraine vs Croatia. Group 7 will have another derby in the game Romania vs France, in Group 8 Bulgaria vs Italy and Scotland vs Norway in Group 9

Spain is the only team which not lost any game at this tournament, they have only a draw with Italy in quarter finals, but they won it at penalty shoots with two great saves by Casillas. If we take a look at statistics we found Spain in the top of Shots on goal with 49 shots in 5 games (9.8 shots/game). From the semifinals teamsSpain and Turkey are the only teams who in the entire tournaments shot more on goal than wide.

If we love the football we have to admit that Spain was better, but this not mean that will win the final. The Germany team defend very well and on counter-attack they decide a lot of games, at this tournament I have to remember just the game with Turkey when they have just 3 shots on goal, and they score 3 goals, amazing don’t you think?

This will be a game between this two coach. Luis Aragones an old but smart coach, I think he is a very good in strategy. His team stop the amazing Russia, and I think he locked very well the russians players, because in the semifinals did not have to much chances to score and the Spain team locked very well Arsavin and Pavlyucenko. Will Aragones stop the Germany team to?!

The other coach Joachim Low lead the team to the final without playing an amazing football, but the Germany team was very efficient, they score 10 goals in the tournament( equal to The Netherlands team and one goal less than the Spain team)

This match will be the first and last for one with this opponent at EURO 2008 for the team who lost.

Some ones sad that Group C was the best one, with good teams. But all this did not impress Spain and Russia, both team decide to go forward and now they are in the semifinals, after sending home teams like The Netherlands and Italy.

From the 22 players on this semifinals there are two important players, the goalkeepers.

Spain will have Iker Casillas, the goalkeeper from Real Madrid born on 20 May 1981, he comes with a lot experience at high level football from the tough competitions like Primera Division and Champions League. He won the Champions League in 1999/2000 and 2001/2002.

Igor Akinfeev will try to lead Russia in to the final. Born on 8 April 1986 currently play for CSKA Moscow. He is the goalkeeper for CSKA from the age of 17 years. In 2004/2005 season he won the UEFA Cup

Both goalkeepers play only for a team. Iker in Spain for Real, while Igor in Russia for CSKA.

Russia in 2008 play in 8 games, lost just the first one with Romania and the first one in Group D at EURO 2008 with Spain.

The teams which lead group A, Portugal and group B, Croatia lost the in quarters. Croatia won all game, in group but the Turkey play until the last minute of the game, they were lead by Croatia, but this was not important for them.

Germany vs Turkey will be the 18th games in the history. In the past 3 games and a draw, Turkey won 3 and Germany 11. Considering this numbers Germany will win this to. But the Turkey team have something special and play very well, they fight until the last minute whatever the score is.

Looks like Turkey in this semifinals will have just 13 players available, the others will miss because yellow cars or injuries. Turkey had to give 100% in the game with Czech Republic, and with Croatia, they could be a little we will se how much power they have for the game with Germany.

Germany came from a “easy” game with Portugal. They score fast goals, and play just 90 minutes in the quarter.

The Netherlands won all 3 games in Group C, they score most goals in this tournament, 9. They beat Italy, France and Romania.

Russia a team from second place in Group B, won the games with Greece and Sweden, and lost against Spain.Netherlands is one of the 3 teams who won all games in Groups (Croatia and Spain). But in the second quarter Croatia lost at penalty with Turkey. This and the next quarter will tell us if at this EURO in the semifinals we will have a tam which won all games.

Hiddink comes with coach experience, he coach teams like The Netherlands, South Korea and Australia. He have good results at all teams.

Marco van Basten coach just the Netherlands team (from national teams), he qualified Netherlands to World Cup 2006 but lost in q16 after a lost 0-1 with Portugal. After this tournament he will leave the team and start the coach career at Ajax.
